A few months ago, I was absolutely delighted to receive an email from The Hepworth, asking me if i would like to exhibit my work there.
Due to my work being based on Wakefield and its strong mining heritage, it was chosen to coincide with the exhibition Bill Brandt and Henry Moore which explores the mining communities of the north.
Unfortunately, as Covid 19 began unfolding over the last few weeks, The Hepworth, along with all other public spaces was due to close.
Hopefully, everything will at some stage return to normal and the exhibition will still take place at a later date, however for now its much more important that everybody looks after each other and stays safe.
